Guild versus Guild, GvsG / GvG for short, is one of the few PvP events available in the game. Its main objective is to capture more
Crystal Barriers than your opponent while keeping your Guild's
Moral up. Moral goes up or down based on
Crystals captured,
Crystals taken away, Kills and Casualties. Taking your opponents'
Crystal Barriers gives the most Moral points, followed by capturing
Crystals, and lastly I believe it is 1 point per kill. The winner is declared after one Guild reaches 0 Moral points and loses, or the timer ends. We also get 1, 2, 4 points per 30 secs we keep a
Crystal. This is why it is crucial to take your opponents
Crystal Barriers as soon as possible to prevent them from gaining more Moral.
PrizesGlory Gift Bags x25 for participating in the first round, x50 for the second.
How do we qualify to enter GvG?In order for the Guild to qualify to participate in GvG, members must participate in
Arenas (3v3, 10v10 and Monster Battle Arena) and be
Top 16 in gained
Guild Arena Fame, which is reset weekly with maintenance.
Before you enterMake sure you are prepared for battle! Check your gear and
Repair if needed (you can also repair once inside, so don't stress if you forget). Also make sure you have the right gear for the class you will be playing (Armor, Trophies, accessories, weapons etc). Bring plenty of
Pots and
Buffs with you if you have them (recommended), active your
Glyphs if need be (recommended), and don't forget about our
Town Buff from Statue in Guild Town (It's a FREE boost, might as well take it!) Do your recommended Events for an extra boost to your stats, but remember, it's best to do this for the second battle as it will be tougher than the first. Study the Battlefield Map (Pictured Below) have an idea of where things are and which direction you'll be traveling in.
| How to enter? Left Click on the Purple Sword on your Mini Map (Pictured Left), the Battlefield interface window will pop up (Pictured Below). Click on the Guild Elimination tab. Then click on the Join button on the right side of the window. Hit Confirm on the pop up window and you will then be transported to the GvG Holy Battlefield. |
What to do once inside?Once you're inside the Battlefield you will be in either Preparation Zone A or B of either
Red or
Blue team. Guild members will be automatically split between Prep Zone A or B and you cannot teleport to the other side during Preparation time. There is a 5 minute prep time before the battle. Members should take advantage of this time to
Party up,
Buff, and know the
Game Plan.
In the Prep Zones you will find three NPC's, one in A and two in B. **** insert Name of NPC;s and what they sell *****
Party OrganizationKnowing ahead of time which party you're in, your role, and what is needed to be done to win is crucial. Trying to explain the process during prep time or during the battle will hinder our chances to win. Kindly take the time to learn your role, the role of your teammates, and the process of the battle. Team Leaders will need to log on RaidCall to hear instructions from Alestar and Nesari as well as updates from members. These would be the ideal Parties and Classes, yet due to lack of participation, Parties will differ greatly.
::Crystal Barrier Takers::
This team will consist of our heaviest hitters, one Illusionist, one Bard and two Healers (2 Clerics or 1 Cleric, 1 Shaman). The main goal of this group is to capture all 5 of the
Crystal Barriers. Three members will be picked to continuously attacked the
Crystal even if ganged up by our opponents, the reason is to prevent the
Crystal from resetting. The Taker Team must trust the Defender Team to defend them from our opponents during attacks.
Warning: If the person who has the Crystal's aggro leaves, walks too far or dies, THE CRYSTAL WILL RESET.::Crystal Barrier Defenders::
This team will consist of Tanks, hard hitting DPS/MDPS, 2 to 3 Healers and one Illusionist if available/needed. Their purpose is to support the Taker Team in capturing
Crystals, with their main focus being attacking enemies that come to attack/stop us from capturing crystals, then helping with the damage to the
Crystal Barriers.
::Summoners::
This team will consist of 4 members who will run around the Battlefield as Knights (Equipped with Speed Gear, Accessories and Trophies) collecting the small blue
Army Command Crystals found around the walls of the Battlefield.
::Suiciders::
Our deadliest group, who like the Summoners, collect
Crystals to turn in to **** name of NPC **** to gain a Skill to self-destruct and kill friend and foe alike who are near you or one that binds players nearby into a web to stop them from running from the self-destruction. Once you have 10 Army Command Crystals you can trade them for either the
Self Destruct Skill or
Linear Gravity Skill.
Make sure set party to Free Mode.
If you are killed while the
Self Destruct skill is active, you will lose the skill upon death.
::Campers::
Depending on our opponents, the campers are the ones who can camp our opponents' spawn spots. They can also run solo and stop the capture of Crystals Barriers. Their main goal is to interrupt their formations, reset crystals and spam kill low levels/low geared opponents; even their strongest members if able.
Things to Remember You can use your mount in the Battlefield. (Recommended)

Time attacks

Crystal Barriers.
If you leave or disconnect from the Battlefield all the
